Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
