Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
